I am a New York City-based employment and civil rights attorney. I represent individuals and groups of employees who face discrimination, harassment, wage theft, wrongful termination and other injustice at on the job. For almost a decade, I have helped employees at all levels, in a variety of industries, protect their legal rights.

My former clients include workers denied the minimum wage and overtime pay, women and men who were sexually assaulted on the job, employees of color subjected to racist language and symbols such as nooses, LGBT employees harassed because of their gender identity or expression, as well as older and disabled individuals passed over for jobs or singled out for lay off. I also represent students and tenants who experience racial and sexual harassment where they live or go to school.

I am committed to providing my clients with strategic legal advice, and when the circumstances warrant bringing a lawsuit, I advance their position through tireless, aggressive courtroom advocacy. I am a trial attorney with experience litigating cases in federal and state court, at mediations, arbitrations, and before agencies such as the United States Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and the New York State Division of Human Rights. I also assist individuals achieve their employment-related goals by negotiating and enforcing employment contracts, non-compete and severance agreements.

Work environments where illegal practices or policies are tolerated damage the people who work there. My approach is to level the playing field between employers and employees whose rights have been violated through effective lawyering. I partner with my clients to understand their goals and I work relentlessly to achieve the best resolution. I empower my clients by helping then understand their rights and by providing them with legal advice based on an understanding of the law and years of experience.
